Aneishia has been working with at risk youth for the past 15 years, is trained in trauma informed care and is passionate about thinking about trauma first when dealing with children and families.  Aneisha joined Children’s Home Society of Florida in September of 2013,  and has spent the last three years  as the Therapeutic Court Case Manager in Palm Beach. She knew it would be a challenging caseload: children and teens with multiple placement disruptions, runaways, mental health crises/Baker Acts, and many youth on psychotropic medications. Aneisha took the hardest of all foster care cases and welcomed the opportunity to look at each child with a “fresh set of eyes”. Instead of judging them based on their history, she believes in them and knows that permanency for even ‘these kids’ is not a bridge too far. She shared that it is amazing to watch her clients be engaged in the process and see how excited they are to think that they may have some say and some contribution to what their future will look like.
