At United Way of Central Maryland, we believe that to have strong, stable communities that thrive, the families within those communities also must be strong and stable. This requires financial stability and housing, a quality education and good health. Family Stability is the cornerstone of what we do – working not only to change the odds, but striving to beat them.
This work would not be possible without the expertise, talent and dedication of the hundreds of partner organizations and thousands of direct service providers who do the work every day to change the odds for those they serve. These are often the unsung heroes who are helping to transform lives for individuals, families and communities across central Maryland.
United Way is thrilled to partner with the Superstar Foundation to recognize, thank and reward exceptional performers in human services who not only help carry out the work and mission of United Way, but who are truly making a positive impact across our region. Together, the Superstar Foundation and United Way will make a $5,000 award directly to a Superstar who uses data to demonstrate the impact this individual has had on the lives of those they serve.
