NOMINATE A SUPERSTAR in the GReater Washington AREA!

An award winner must first be nominated through VPP"s page on the Superstar Foundation website. Please click on the appropriate button below if you are a manager or supervisor and would like to nominate a member of your team OR if you are a Superstar and would like your manager or supervisor to nominate you.

Only direct service staff who provide services to the target population of a given organization are eligible for a Superstar Award.

The 10 question nomination form will take approximately 1 hour to complete. You may stop at any time during the nomination process and return to complete the form at a later date. There are four components of the nomination form:

  1. Multiple Choice Questions on Service Strategy and Engagement
  2. Three (3) Essay Questions Highlighting Evidence of Exceptional Performance
  3. References
  4. Submission of de-identified data

VPP's Superstar Award is limited to the following individuals and organizations. 

- The organization must provide direct services to children, youth, or young adults in the Greater Washington area. The Greater Washington area is defined as the District of Columbia, Prince George's County and Montgomery County in Maryland, and the counties and cities that make up Northern Virginia. 

- Nominees for a superstar award must work directly with children, youth, or young adults (ages 0-24 years old). At least 50% of this person's time must be in direct contact and work with children, youth, or young adults. 

- Nominees must work directly with children located in the Greater Washington area.

- An organization may nominate multiple individuals for the award - but a separate application must be completed for each person.
